About the RRE Arrangement
The Arrangement on Reciprocal Recognition and Enforcement of Judgments in Civil and Commercial Matters by the Courts of the Mainland and of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (the “RRE Arrangement”) is implemented through the Mainland Judgments in Civil and Commercial Matters (Reciprocal Enforcement) Ordinance (Cap. 645) (the “RE Ordinance”), came into effect on 29 January 2024. Aside from an increase in certainty and predictability for parties, we can expect to see a reduction in time and legal costs spent on cross-boundary enforcement of judgments.
With the implementation of the “RE Ordinance”, CBI provides our customers with one-stop service in relation to civil / commercial judgements of both Mainland China and Hong Kong including due-diligence check on companies and follow-up legal actions.
Apart from matters relating to IP protection and “RRE Arrangement”, CBI also provides business intelligence and investigation, corporate security consultancy services in building security and risk management, VIP protection, counter surveillance and eavesdropping, IT incident management and computer forensics.
