Daniel has served Hong Kong Police Force for over 28 years, retired in the rank of Superintendent in 2014.

Before joining the Hong Kong Police Force an inspector in 1986, he attained a B.A. (2nd Honours) Degree in Accounting & Economics from the University of Kent at Canterbury, UK.

He has a wealth of experience in crime investigation and detected a variety of high-profile criminal cases, including serious and syndicated crimes, international fraud and commercial crimes, and has excellent risk management abilities. In 2004, he attended the International Fraud Risk Management Course held in UK.

In addition to serving as a commander in a number of Police Divisions and Districts, Daniel was actively involved in the surveillance and intelligence analysis planning in his Police career.

After his retirement in 2014, Daniel provides corporate risk management consultancy services for commercial and private sectors on “security practice and management”. He also works as  university tutor in the course of “Security Practice and Management” and “Crime and Forensic Investigation”.
