Mr. Lee has 20 years of law and enforcement (police) experience and over 25 years in industrial and commercial security fields.
Retired as a Chief Inspector of Police, he had performed constabulary duties in Uniform Branch, Criminal Investigation and Intelligence units. During his service, he was awarded many compliments and commendations for his outstanding performance by his commanding officers.
Upon retirement from the government service in1995, Mr. Lee was entrusted by the Henderson Land Development to establish a security services company encompassing security guarding, commercial investigation and risk assessment, close escort protection, physical security survey and security hardware installation. After 5 years of intensive development, the company had matured into a strong entity with over 900 operational and support staff.
Mr. Lee was then employed by the Hong Kong Jockey Club as Security Operations Manager overseeing Raceday Security Management and the well-being of some 1200 racehorses at the Shatin Racecourse.
Mr. Lee then joined the Hongkong Land Ltd of the Jardine Mathewson Group in late 2001 after the notorious “911” Incident. With his vast experience in physical security, he tailor-made a new level of Security Operations Procedures for the group’s local internal departments and overseas commercial setups. Being Head of Security, Mr. Lee was responsible for security management of some 5 million square feet top grade commercial buildings (central portfolio buildings) in Hong Kong and overseas real-estate investments and commercial facilities in China and Southeast Asian countries including Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines and Cambodia. Mr. Lee retired after a 3-year extension in 2015.
He was invited by the Asian Pacific Security Services Limited as a senior consultant providing market strategy for business on investigation, risk management and Technical Surveillance Counter Measures (TSCM) between 2015-2018.
