Titus has served in the Hong Kong Police Force for 26 years, retired at the rank of Superintendent in 2016.
Before joining the HK Police as an Inspector in 1986, he was educated in UK Reading for Computer Science at Queen Mary College in London University and further his studies after he joined the Police and attained a Master Degree in Public Order from the University of Leicester (UK) in 1997.
During his 26 years in the Police, he was mainly involved in front-line duties and public order events. He used to be a Consulate Liaison Officer with all Consulates in HK, thus established a close liaison and cooperation with foreign law enforcement agencies such as US Secret Service and DEA .
During Titus’s tenure with the Police, he served three years in the VIP Protection Unit (G4), where he was responsible for event planning and organisation as well as providing close protection for many Head of States. He was also the Personal Assistant to the Commissioner of Police between 2003 and 2006.
After he retired from the HK Police in 2016, he worked as the Head of Security in private sector in charge of a large Close Protection Team in HK and China till 2023. An experienced and an active professional trainer in front-line security, risk management and VIP protection as well as knowledge of the global security environment currently providing VIP Protection training to various police special security units under the China Public Security Bureau.
