Senior Consultant

Upon Mr. WONG’s appointment to the Inspectorate in 1977 at the Royal Hong Kong Police, he had been working in Uniform Branch, Police Training School, Criminal Investigation Department and the Special Branch. All such postings had given him the experience to refine his leadership, investigation, and man-management skills. 

In 1992 Mr. Wong retired at the rank of Senior Inspector from the RHKP and went to the United Kingdom (UK) to study at the Staffordshire University and was awarded the Post Graduate Diploma in Management Studies in 1993. After his return from the UK in 1993, he obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Entrepreneurship and Business from the University of Huddersfield (UK) in 2004. In 2006 Mr. Wong was awarded the Professional Diploma in Fraud Examination by the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

1999-2000 Mr. Wong was employed by the Aviation Security Company Limited as the Head of the Apron Services Division. With more than 300 security personnel the Division was responsible for providing aviation security services to airlines, tenants and handling agents, at the Hong Kong International Airport. 

2000-2004 Mr. Wong was employed by the HSBC as the Head of the Security Department of the Main Treasury. He was responsible for the overall security of the Main Treasury, the most highly secure building in Hong Kong and cash in transit operation for the Main Treasury to and from HSBC branches.

2004-2018 Mr. Wong was appointed as Director of the Asia Pacific Security Services Limited (APSS). He was Overall in charge of the company. APSS provided comprehensive services such as supply of security guards, provision of security survey & audit and provision of shore security. It is worth mentioning that in 2017 the Liaoning Carrier visiting Hong Kong, the service of shore security and screening of visitors was conducted by the APSS. From 2018 till now Mr. Wong was appointed as a director of the VRCN Limited which specializes in cloud-based identity authentication.
